Some time has passed since the battle.
I can hear the sound of waves.
Sara: It's so bright…
Sara gazes at the sun high up in the clear sky.
Sara: I'm glad the weather is so nice.
Link: Yeah. We could finally all come here together.
I reply, watching Kana and Lippy playing in the surf.
Kana: Ahaha! Take this, Lippy! Haa!
She joyfully swings at the water with both hands, drenching Lippy.
Lippy: —Fwah! That was well done, Lady Kana! But I will not be outdone!
Lippy splashes in the water determinedly.
...It must take a lot of strength to send up that much water with such small arms…
But since it's Lippy, I can see it somehow.
Zephyr: They're really energetic… well, glad they're having fun.
Next to me, Zephyr smiles a little as he watches them.
This is our daily life.
It's proof that we've put the harsh battles behind us and reclaimed our normal lives.

The kingdom of Clariye.
Seeing that there were no longer military ships on guard around the port, we brought our ship in to dock.
Rumors of that had been spreading and the citizens seemed to believe the notices were no longer in effect.
The port and the castle town were lively once again.

We parted with Yuri at Clariye's docks.
As per the request, he'd found the person he was searching for and would be returning to Euraia.
I wanted to thank the master archer who had helped us.
But Zephyr said that Yuri had asked him to give it up.
Zephyr: It might be someone you know.
It was probably for the best that we didn't talk to him or him to us.
I didn't pursue it any further.

We parted with Velvet on the ship.
We found the pirate ship she had sailed with in the seas near Clariye and saw her off.
The friends who came to meet her showered her with questions.
Velvet had always seemed like she didn't want people to get too close to her, but she looked much gentler when talking with her friends.
Kana: Thank you, Velvet! See you again!
Kana shouted her farewell as Velvet departed.
Her friends set up an impressive clamor when they heard Kana's words.

And so, we returned to Maira and took a break for a while.
It'll be a little while before our a next trip.
Our next destination is a bit far away.
It'll be a place that we saw in his memories.
I'm sure it'll be another difficult journey. But with all of us together, we can overcome any difficulties.
I space out while thinking about this—
Kana: —Waah!? The waves…! Waaaaaah!
Lippy: Oh!? Lady Kana…!
Zephyr: Why the hell are you getting washed away when the waves are so weak!?
Zephyr's voice is full of mingled shock and exasperation as he goes running toward the cove.
Sara and I laugh as we watch them.
This is our normal life.
Sara: Hey, Link.
Your voice is the same as always.
But I think something has clearly changed between us.
Sara: You know, I'm really glad I could come here with you.
Sara wears a bashful expression on her face.
Sara: This was my secret place.
And you brought me here.
Sara: ...you know, I really like working hard. No, that's not it…
Sara: I get restless if I don't work hard. If I'm not working hard, I get scared.
Sara: Sometimes even when I'm with all of you. It's because I love you all so much.
Sara: You're so dazzling… sometimes I can't look away.
She looks down a little as she speaks.
Sara: I thought, I couldn't let myself fall behind, so I couldn't depend on anyone else… that's how I always felt while we traveled.
That was Sara's confession.
The feelings that Sara had sunk into the depths of her heart.
You'd always been by my side, and that small voice that had cried out inside you all this time.
For you to stay by me, I have to respond to that voice, those feelings.
The sea breeze blows through the space between us.
My heart is swayed by the sound of the waves, and I tell you.
Link: That's not true. You're always trying so hard. I want you to depend on me more.
Sara: To be honest… I'm really bad at it. Really depending on other people, I mean.
Sara: I feel like I can do it if it's you. ...But I also feel like I absolutely can't because it's you.
Under normal circumstances, I would think those words were just like Sara.
But today, I want to soften her heart, no matter what.
So — I don't know if this the right thing to do—
Link: Then… how about I depend on you first?
Sara: Huh?
Sara looks at me blankly, and I touch her hand.
Link: If someday I can't do anything for you anymore…
Link: Will you stay with me?
Sara: Ah…
It's my turn to ask the words that she had been crying out in her heart.
Sara might view that wish as dependence.
But isn't it such a warm-hearted wish?
Sara: ...geez. That's what I'm talking about, Link.
Link: Huh?
Sara: Haha. That's what makes me think you're dazzling. ...but it's a really warm, gentle light. ...thank you.
...though I don't think that's true.
It happened again when Sara was taken away.
I felt as if the stars had been stolen away.
Because to me, Sara is the brightest, most dazzling star.
...a thought suddenly crosses my mind. It's only a "what if," but—
Maybe there doesn't need to be any light between us.
If that brightness upsets you and me, then I want to turn it into something else.
I'm motivated by the desire just to be by your side. What is this warm feeling called?
Then Sara suddenly smiles.
Sara: Ehehe. Got it! Then… I'll start depending on you right now. Come with me, Link!
Link: —Huh? Waaah!?
Sara suddenly stands and pulls at my hand, leading me toward the cove.
Her hand isn't pulling strongly; rather, it's gently guiding me, as if in invitation.
There's only a slight feeling of warmth where our hands are linked, where we touch—
Oh. This must be…
Sara: Come on, let's go!
Just when she shouts—
We dive underwater.
The two of us sink together.
Toward her secret, favorite place.
Surrounded by rays of light that thrust through the waves, I pray for the answer I've finally found.
I pray that my wish will be granted.
Please, God. Let me be with her, even if it's only for a little while.

Let me become the light to her star.
fin.
