Monster: Raaaaaah!
With a single spell, I scatter the monsters before us.
As we race through the halls leading into the barracks, monsters attack us as if to block our progress.
Lippy: Just a little farther!
I feel an overwhelming dark aura. We run down the hall that takes us deeper into the barracks.
Kana: Everyone… please be okay…!
Velvet: I wonder.
The black shadow racing next to me is Velvet.
She'd said she'd want to check just in case and come along with us.
Then--
I see a door further ahead. There are monsters standing in the way as if to protect it.
The center of the dark aura is in that room.
Lippy: Hmph! Guards! What shall we do--
Velvet: One way or another… I've come this far. We'll do this together!
In that case-- but Velvet doesn't wait for our agreeement before she speeds up.
She raises her blade.
Velvet: Shell Splitter!
Rooooooar!
She charges, and the force of the attack she releases blows away both the monsters and the door.
Velvet disappears into the room without stopping.
Lippy: To think she broke through both the monsters and the door…
Kana: Let's go in too!
We nod at Kana's words and begin to run.
We rush into the room without slowing down.
When we enter, before our eyes is--
Velvet: Haaaaaa!
Monster: Grooooooar!
A monster holding a sword and a monster with a bow standing alongside it.
They're both powerful -- we have to help--
Kana: Allen! They're all...!
At Kana's shout, I look around the room.
On the left side, Zephyr and Yuri are collapsed on the floor.
And on the right, I can see Sara propped up against the wall, unconscious.
Link: Ugh!
Lippy: Master Zephyr… Lady Sara… and Master Yuri! They were defeated…!?
Even now, the monsters are surrounding them, ready to stab with their fangs and claws.
Link: ...we have to save them…! Lippy! Kana! Take care of Zephyr and Yuri!
Kana: Got it!
Lippy: Leave it to us!
We send spells at the group of monsters attacking our friends.
Feeling the shock of the impact, the monsters notice our presence and turn to face us.
The monsters' lifeless eyes land on us.
We've succeeded in drawing their attention.
Instead of going after the people collapsed in front of them, they start moving to eliminate us new opponents.
That's fine.
Lippy: I'll banish you!
