[1] shiritori is a word game based on first/last sounds in a word. it doesn't work quite as well with English romanization, so that's why I put the names as they're written in kana next to each line.
[2] apparently this is… a thing…? According to my dictionary, it's also "a person who pushily takes charge when cooking hot pot at a table."
[3] I don't think this is well known in English, but: ladder lottery. They're literally picking an endpoint and tracing lines down Ryuu's abs.
