The captain speaks one word at a time, trying to slow down his ragged breathing.
Sesque: First… let me thank you…
The damage from the battle is really affecting him. He looks to be in pain and is on the verge of collapse.
Sesque: ...thank you for saving me from that man-eating-
The man gets that far before his body reels all at once
Zephyr: Whoa--
I catch the man before he can fall.
He's limp and unconscious.
Yuri: …looks like he's passed out.
When I look closely, his stomach is covered in blood. It's still wet.
Yuri: That's a pretty nasty wound… looks like he was stabbed badly.
I remember how he yelled earlier.
He really couldn't forgive the deaths of his comrades.
Zephyr: We've gotta take care of that wound first. Let's head back to the inn and have Allen take a look at him.
Yuri: Yeah.
We carry the captain's body and head back to the inn.
The sky is beginning to brighten just a little.
--The night is over.
